Lord of Ultima game play review

Last time, I have wrote about web games some information and I have been playing "Lord of Ultima" and "The settlers online". They are quite well made and enjoyable when you are free.

Today, I am gonna review about "Lord of Ultima" which is a bit heavy as web game. I introduced this game to my friends and they also like it.

Lord of Ultima -I've just got an invitation from a master of alliance. hahahaha I hope it is gonna be stronger and battle a lot. 

Lord of Ultima -This is social menu window. not like SN games. just you can manage your friends list and black list. that's all. don't expect like facebook SN games.

Lord of Ultima -oops. there is a mistake. I took a popup image as well. forgive me. and do not wondering what that is meaning. (not really important thing) Actually, this game didn't have items for unit or my hero. so all most all items for management account and resource. I will explain more about shop later on.

Lord of Ultima -Here is a shop window. There is not much cash items. and you can buy it with Funds which is cyber cash. They sell some bundle items and resources and speed items. In my case, i can play games without any cash items. If you are busy or wanna be stronger in mean time, just try some cash items. will be help you out a lot. however, you can kill me in battle!!! 

Lord of Ultima -This is City Info window. you can see some summary on this window. This is pretty useful to manage your city. 

Lord of Ultima -It is very important window which is Recruitment window. first time, you don't need to make your units. I recommend to build all buildings first and than  you can make your units. nobody can destroy you as beginner protection.

Lord of Ultima -Commands, Hmmm still dont get it about this. I think like template to manage to attack. 

Lord of Ultima -It is Trade window. I didn't try to trade some resource, but you know you need to know how manage it to abuse?!?! hahaha I am kidding. there are some protection to pretend to abuse account or alliance. 

 Lord of Ultima -This is city view. Actually, i've just moved some building to other section to easy control. As you can see, there are pretty good quality graphics.

Lord of Ultima -This is region view. I really like it. There are normal enemies and some different type of dungeon over there. you can raid all dungeons, but don't try strong one when you are low levers. I already tried and killed all my units.

Lord of Ultima -This is world view. I don't think they remove inactive accounts. Hmm don't know there are active. coz a lot of trives, but not much high levels. It meant lots of users tried and they left early. I think it is not good to play in office. coz a bit heavy... 

Lord of Ultima -It is chatting window. You can hide it or bigger or smaller as you want. not much people are talking on chatting window. so quite quiet game, not like The settlers online. hahaha

Lord of Ultima -you will see it quite early in game after login. there are some summary for you. don't miss it to read.

Finally, I wanna show it which is default game playing view. 

Lord of Ultima -This is not normal view. I tired to zoomed out and you can see. there are five section to build and manage. That is all your land. I think you need to build buildings well to manage all of them. it is much bigger than other games.

Lord of Ultima -This is reports. you can get reports after battle or some other stuff. will be good to figure out how was the battle.

Lord of Ultima -I really like this kind of quest system. you know what i am not confusing to do next step. there are kind of guide to play game and you learn really fast in mean time. but sometimes, want to do somehow funny or strange quest as well. but in this case, make challenge and good rewards. 

Lord of Ultima -This is not sure for what. It is research option. I think it might be to research and learn something to make strong units and building or to move next level. I didn't try why it is still inactive button to me. or i need to buy it with cash?? no way.

Lord of Ultima -What do you think about this game? firstly, I felt quite made well and playable and easy. Well, if i become high level, will be difficult actions follow me, but now still easy. secondly, I like to explore dungeons and get some treasure. In my case, I think it is best game so far.

Review of The settles online

The settles online game is quite famous for web browser game in the world. This game was developed by Ubisoft. In my view, there is quite simple design, but not tacky at all.

I would like to review the settles online as newbi in this game. Actually, I already made an account and took screenshots so I skipped how make account. You know it is quite easy, don't be freaking out.

And now you already saw how is the graphic of web site and game. There is consistently from web site to game. And it is free to play game and you don't need to download hell of heave game client at all.

It is after login. There is my character and some menus at left side. Let's play "Play now" button.

If you logged in game successfully, you will see this awesome loading page during move to game page. (I am kind of football. :')) Here we can see their sense.

This is a default view. actually I zoomed out to show how is the world map. Hmmm still i don't know how to see other people tribes. I think i can see it from optional menu on  friends list.

 This is a trader menu. Let me say it is cash item shop something like that. In this game, you can't buy cash item directly. You need to charge cyber cash and you can buy. and the other hands, you can trade with football and gold.

Here is charge page. you can charge from 1.99 Euro up to 99.99 Euro. Hmmm quite expensive and I won't charge so far coz I prepare games that i can play without cash items in battle and rearing.

This is main building in your tribe which called Mayor's house. I am wondering why they call it like that. Any way, my building is still quite poor.

There is problems. I know this game 7 years old children can play so it is quite easy to start. C'mon it is freaking slow slow slow to play game. (Calm down baby)

I am still on Tutorial quest, but nothing special compared with other web browser games.

It is Stones. you need to find some area and you can collect stone. It is not difficult.

I was deeply impressive from chatting. A lot A lot of players are there and keep greeting and talking. As you know, in web game, there is quiet and not talk too much. BUT this is totally different. Trading, finding friends, helping players. I think it would be good model for other web games. yeah yeah actually, most of all people play web games in office or school so don't need to chat much. however, I prepare interaction stuff still.

Mmm I didn't mention about icons in game. I really like them. They are looking simple and easy understanding and big. all of icons are awesome cute and delicates. 

 

 I think it might be quite sociable game. A player wanted to get a friend to share buffs and talk. If you have a lot of friends, you will get some benefits. So I start collecting friends over there. :') If you play it, search me.

Ohhh it is last screenshot. It is about sources for building, producing, extending, etc. Let me say, it is hard to collect resources due to collect so slowly. Hmm i need to build more buildings for resources? 

Yeap. It is my first review for The settles online web browser game. I pretty like it and enjoy now. I think I will play it for a while, quite easy story and awesome design.

But there is a problems, my network is not really bad, but it is quite slow reaction. I think there is 2~3 seconds delay when I click something to buff and belated alerts as well.

Here is my conclusion.

Strength

• Simple and big icons to understand game easily
• easy story and quest(in low levels)
• high graphic quality
• sense to bring real stuff to in game(Euro championship 2012)
• big community

Weakness

• poor network connection(slow reacting and alerts)
• too easy and slow process to clear tutorial quest

I've just searched some information of web browser games in Europe. And I started playing "The Settlers Online" which was developed by Ubisoft on Sep 2010. I didn't know how it is famous so far. I think it is quite loose, but still enjoy. And there are lots of users i can see them on chatting system. It is pretty impressive.

Actually, we have tons of games and I have no idea which one I should play. In my case, when I have time, I login several web games, and play at same time. It is funnier than massive 3D MMORPG games. :')
